A How to wash silk product
Step by step instruction
Hand washing is the best and gentlest way to wash silk; of course you can also dry clean it, which is more convenient; if you want to wash it in the washing machine, please turn on the light mode.
1. Check the care label of your silk products carefully to confirm how to wash them.
2. Fill a basin with <= lukewarm water 30℃/86℉ is the ideal temperature for silk to be hand-washed.
3. Soak silk products in lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes
4. Add a few drops of neutral, enzyme-free detergent for silk. As silk is not resistant to alkali, it should be washed in a gentle way.
5. Silk garments should not be twisted to remove water after washing, but should be gently shaken out.
6. Hang to dry in the shade, do not expose to sunlight directly.
7. Maintain the soft feel and anti-static properties of silk with the appropriate use of fabric softener.
8. Store sealed in a clean and tidy wardrobe.
